The residents of  Jefferson County should be able to enjoy its  beauty without the constant fear of gun violence.  This is why I’m running for Sheriff of Jefferson County.

Jefferson county is a beautiful place to live and offers so much for out door enthusiasts.  From its 50 lakes to its 15 parks to the splash pads in Pratt city and the dirt bike trails in the rural areas, Jefferson County offers a beautiful terrain.

Jefferson County is in the 13th percentile for safety in the U.S.  That  means 87% of the nation's counties are safer than Jefferson County.  That has to change.  Let’s be clear, it is a natural fact, if you keep doing what you're doing you are going to keep getting what you are getting.  What we have now is not working.

When elected as your sheriff, I will be Jefferson County’s strongest advocate for Safety.  Curbing the gun violence is my number one priority.  I will operate the office with the Integrity the residents deserve.  Finally, as your sheriff I will work to ensure Justice is the outcome of all we do; from how we interact with the residents to how we treat inmates and how we empower those who work for the office to do the right thing. In short, the essence of my job will be to improve  the Quality of Life for all residents of Jefferson County through Safety, Integrity and Justice.
